Visit the store to see all of the available cabinet styles, finishes and options on display.
- Can I assemble and install a new kitchen myself?
Anyone with a reasonable amount of carpentry skills and experience should be able to build and install their own cabinets. Some power tools and proficiency in using them will certainly speed the process. The real question you need to ask yourself is SHOULD you do this project yourself?
- What's the biggest mistake you see DIYer's make?
Not reading and understanding the instructions before they start. There are several steps that are critically important to a successful installation and missing any one of them can result in a damaged or unusable cabinet. Take your time and make sure you understand all of the steps before you start.
- How long will it take before I'll be able to enjoy my new kitchen?
Great Spaces can usually schedule your in home-planning and measurement service within a couple of days. Then, we’ll put together a complete plan and proposal, usually in a week or less. From these plans, you’ll be ready to order your cabinets. All styles are in-stock and can generally be delivered within a week. Once your cabinets arrive, a “typical kitchen” takes us 2-3 days to complete. We’ll be happy to give you a timeline for your project. Be sure to allow additional time for removal of your existing cabinetry and counter tops and the installation of new counter tops, appliances, etc.
- How much will it cost to have Great Spaces install my new cabinetry?
The prices we charge are set to be affordable. Installation of a typical 10x10 “L” shaped kitchen is about $1837.00 plus tax. Keep in mind that all the cabinetry is shipped unassembled to save you money on both the product and the shipping, but we must assemble it before installation. We think that when you add up the prices of our cabinetry and our professional assembly & installation, you will still be saving money vs. any other cabinetry of comparable quality, appearance and warranty. We will be happy to provide you with a proposal for your project.
